A few teachers have told me that I probably won’t get into sixth form. I feel so demotivated. I was working really hard but this weekend I’ve just given up. I feel as if I can’t achieve anything ... even the simplest of accomplishments like getting into sixth form.

What rubbish, any teacher that says that as opposed to trying to arrange extra support is not worth their salt.

What grades are you getting and in what subjects?

What do you want to do after school?

When are your exams?

Can your parents/school pay for private tutoring?

Try and prove them wrong

But it's no bad idea to have a back up plan anyway...you could apply to a local college alongside your sixth form application and that way you would have a plan B
