I want to get a tattoo on my wrist that is three lines going around my wrist but I am also considering becoming a doctor or working within the NHS. Would I be allowed this tattoo in its placement?

Many hospitals have rules that you can't have visible tattoos

Normal policy of the NHS is that you’re not permitted to have tattoos. You can however cover them up whilst you work depending on where you get them. For you it won’t permitted as you’re planning to directly have them on the wrists.

If it’s covered it’s fine. If not you won’t be allowed or they will take it into consideration depending on the size of the tattoo.
