I’m 18 years old and the past 2 years I’ve been having excruciating period pains only on the first day, causing me to vomit continuously and I cannot eat anything without throwing it back up. I become very lightheaded as if I am going to pass out. I’ve been to the doctors many of times, just for them to give me tablets that do not work. If anyone can relate or has any suggestions to stop the pain that would be great!

Maybe try a form of contraception? like a pill that stops your periods or depo shot which stops them all together for 3 months at a time! I was on this for years lol. I would still keep pestering the doctors though because extreme pain like that isn't normal and they need to get to the root of the problem ,

I experienced this too. It was absolute hell, my life basically stopped for the first 2 days of my periods. I got put on the pill, and I've been on it 3.5 years and never looked back. My life has totally changed. Some months I don't even realise I've started my period because there's that little / no pain whatsoever. Have you tried the pill as an option? For some women it doesn't work, but for me it made everything better. The first period I got after starting the pill, I was actually grinning because it didn't hurt.

Otherwise all I can suggest is a big hot water bottle, curling up in a ball and taking painkillers. I got prescribed Naproxen which I take now still if I do get moderate cramps (still basically nothing compared to what I used to get).
