I’m in year 13 and I honestly burnt out! I did so much revision in year12 that at this point I don’t care about school but I do. And it’s just making me very anxious idk what I should do anymore. I’m not the brightest so to have good grades I have to study for a while regularly but like I want to do other things as well like play guitar etc. I had enough of being a robot but I don’t want to fail... what do I do?

Keep going with your revision - perhaps revise in small chunks so it doesn't get too monotonous? You could use a revision timetable to divide your time. Also check that your revision is as effective as can be: just simply reading a textbook and copying it word for word doesn't really help too much. If you can review your class notes and make clear notes (some people like brainstorms, mind maps, colours or pictures), look at practice questions and papers and compare your answers to the mark scheme (to see which areas need improving) this can really help. Also, don't forget to have some time for yourself e.g. see friends, play guitar...you need to have time to relax too!

I currently doing my GCSE curse i have little trouble as well with revising as i am a procainator like i had revising it is so dreadful i wish i can just be gifted but carry on revising like the other person said by revising in small chunks...if you put so much effort at the start of A-level you will definitely get bored and have had enough....Have and best of luck in your A-levels.
