I've been chosen to do triple science for my GCSE's this years, but I was wondering if there is a higher and foundation triple science? Like how there is foundation and higher for double science. If there is, is the highest I can get for each science a level 5? e.g. the maximum is a 5 in biology, chemistry and physics

Yes, there are Higher and Foundation tier papers for each of Biology, Chemistry and Physics but you could mix and match the tiers - e.g. Higher Biology but Foundation Chemistry and Physics. If you are entered for Foundation the highest you can achieve in that subject is a grade 5.

no, there's no foundation/higher for triple science, it's just triple award that shouldn't stop you from doing well in each subject though:yep:
That's just not true - just look it up https://store.aqa.org.uk/admin/libra...NTRY-CODES.PDF

I am just wondering, wouldn't it be better for me to do double science higher rather than triple foundation? As i want to do a level biology and wouldn't be able to achieve the required Grade 6 to do it, if im in foundation triple science

Why are you struggling in GCSE / what do you struggle with? ie why are you considering foundation?

If you're capable of studying A level Biology then you ought to be able to persuade them to let you do Higher Tier Biology (and ideally Chemistry) even if you take Foundation Physics.

We just completed our mock exams and the science department is worried since mostly everyone in triple science did quite badly. Therefore they're considering who to enter for foundation or higher. I did alright, i got 26/50 which should get me at least a grade 5. I completely forgot to revise plant topics in biology which was a bad mistake as i didn't know anything in the exam for plant questions. That's why I'm worried about being moved to foundation.
