I have an unknown back problem. I am basically a medical mystery as my mum puts it. It just stresses me out and so I am the meaner side of myself that I don't particularly like. I have constant shooting pains down my left leg and can barely walk. I am 14 and so this is a problem at school. It's been going on so long my parents think its going on in my head or I'm over exaggerating and the doctors just keep booking more scans. I have a pair of crutches which help a lot around the house but my mum wknt let me use them around school until a doctor says yes. They would really help me around school as i struggle on stairs and general walking. What do i do??

Go back to your gp and ask to be referred to a specialist. Be firm about it. But not rude. Explain you are getting nowhere and your life is being impacted.
Pain does make you grumpy so ask about pain management and medication.
If life is easier with crutches right now then use then. As long as you really are telling the truth and not swinging the lead!
If you haven’t spoken to someone at school then do so. A teacher you trust. They may be able to help. Good luck
