GCSE's

I have no GCSE's
I am 40yrs old I never had the chance to finish school.
I wish to go to university so I can do psychology and Zoology .
Can I at my age go to college to do maths and English ?
And is there funding for me to do so ?
As I am a unemployed house father due to being injured at work a year ago!
I am married and my wife does work part time, I give these details willingly just to find out if this could effect funding.
Please help .
Thank you all in advance,
Jamie.
I suggest using the search tool on the National Careers Service website to locate courses provided by a college near you. I have tested the search by only looking for "English" and, among many other results, there was English Language GCSE provided by a college.

You can take out an Advanced Learner Loan to fund the course, and the search results page for the individual qualification shall tell you if the individual college allows for that option, and where applicable provides the relevant links to further information.

Good luck with your studies!

I have performed a further search, narrowing down the options using Reading College and it turns out they do not accept Advanced Learner Loans.

Instead they offer GCSEs to those who do not currently possess the qualifications for free!!!
