i just got almost all my mock results back and i was wondering if at this rate i can get the grades i'm hoping for.
maths - 8
spanish - 6
biology - 7-6 (double science, hence the two grades)
chemistry - 7-7
re - 9
history - 7 (4 marks off an 8)
english language - 7 (2 marks off an 8)
i have yet to receive my english literature, physics, science (combined) grades back but do you think it is possible to obtain grades 8s and 9s if i start revising now? i didn't bother with revising for the mocks (which i regret because now i have to cram everything into two months) so i guess these results are pretty good with that taken into consideration (yet my parents think they're bad grades...... south asian parents). andddd i'm hoping to do bio, chem and psychology in college and for that i really want to get the highest possible marks in science so...
also are there any effective and unpopular revision methods that actually work and prevent procrastination? i honestly have no idea how i'm going to start revising.
i also have a hard time retaining information and we only have 2 months left so i dont have enough time to go over everything - i havent done anything at all (notes, flashcards, mindmaps etc) - so.. im stuck

I got 7s and 8s in my GCSE mocks in November, and ended up getting 9999999988. It’s possible, work efficiently and smarter, not harder.

yah, had my mocks in late January and didn't really start revising until just before Easter. I got 6s in English and 7s in most subjects, with 9s in Biology and Maths. I got 8 9s, an 8 and an A* and a lone 6 in German
Definitely possible

that's amazing! how did you manage your time and revise so effectively?

But seriously I just looked at my mocks and revised what I got wrong/guessed mostly and tried some past paper qs, did a few mock papers and was getting pretty consistent high marks
You shouldn't revise what you already know

It is possible if you do loads of practice papers and stuff. In my year 11 mocks I got 9998887776 and then I revised loads and ended up with 99999999886 and an A^ in further maths so it’s entirely possible to do it

Yeah that’s pretty cool, it’s a shame though your school didn’t offer further maths, it helped me loads and was also another gcse which is always nice. What was your 6 in? (if you don’t mind me asking- mine was English language)
