tried talking to my crush, she replied to my text one day and we had a conversation on text but the next time she ignored me and never replied, is it okay to feel genuinely upset it didn't work out

this is a really really common thing to happen, I would say that everyone has this moment, or the majority. Its not that you are not a good person, maybe she just has personal reasons such as family being quite restrictive, controlling etc. She may just not like you in that way, but one day you will find the perfect person, so theres no need to worry

Just because she didn't reply one time doesn't mean she has rejected you - she might not even know that you're interested! There could be many reasons why she didn't reply and they're probably not particularly deep. It's not worth getting upset over it unless/until she directly rejects a more direct advance.

You can't control your feelings but you can control your actions. You can't help feeling sad over being rejected but you shouldn't let that sadness interrupt your life and prevent you from doing things and taking the risk with new people. Don't let one rejection prevent you from shooting your shot again

It’s fine to be upset, but this will happen a lot throughout your life, people come and go and you do feel sad, but at the end of the day you can’t make someone feel the same as you so it wouldn’t work out
But at the same time, one ignored message means nothing, she could be busy, forgot to reply, sick, anything! I know I’m useless at replying to texts, give her another chance

Well it always displays that she is "active" so i'm not sure, she was long to respond to my first texts and now she just won't respond at all to this one.

Rejection is a natural feeling in human nature that can really knock your confidence and make you question things about yourself. It is important to remember that rejection will always tell you more about the crush, and not yourself. For example, you may not be their type or they just simply may not be interested in a relationship. Rejection never means that you are not worthy, and it is completely natural to feel this way. Brush it off and get back on the pitch

thanks, i'll try but i've always had bad luck which is why i think it is me. like i had two girls who were talking to me before, one just blocked me without reason, the other said she would meet up but then changed her mind...

I don’t know what to suggest, sometimes you just don’t feel like talking. I’ll be on Facebook and ignore messages just because I’m not in the mood to chat, it doesn’t mean I’ve fallen out with whoever has messaged me
I guess if it was me, I’d wait a few days and text again. If she doesn’t reply, you know your answer! I’ve been in this exact situation, and it’s best to just put it behind you, don’t keep messaging and messaging her
Could it be possible she has typed a message and forgot to press send, and is waiting for your response to the message she never sent? Haha there’s all sorts of reasons, like I said, give her another chance and then leave it at that if you don’t get a reply
Good luck!

I’d text her again maybe a couple of days after the ignored text
If she still ignores it, I wouldn’t text again until she does
