What to do when Turnitin Doesn't work

My essay was due in on 11/03/2019 at 11:55pm. Turnitin failed and wouldn't let me upload this 5 minuets before the deadline.
I emailed this to my tutor my work, but now he's saying he can't accept my work, despite it being a system failure.

What can I do and has this happened to anyone else?

I think he's being a bit unfair, but I also think you shouldn't leave things until the very last minute. It's always best to allow extra time incase of problems.
