Hey guys do any of you have any predictions to what topics may be coming up in the exams this summer based on past papers and examination reports (AQA Biology)

I’m currently reading the reports and doing past papers to find any trends

I can trade predictions, as the more people who predict we can see what's common and then highlight the ones that are common suggest it will come up , pm me

No point predicting them because the new spec essay titles have been quite broad recently.

I'm thinking definitely cardiac cycle and haemoglobin etc, gas exchange, microscopes, possibly enzymes and digestion. Trouble is they pretty much cover everything over the 3 papers each year.

These were all the topics in the AS 2019 paper the other day so these topics are unlikely to come up in very much depth.

1
Mitosis / karyotype / root tip practical/ Eukaryotic & prokaryotic DNA
2
Osmosis / practical skills / maths
3
Species richness / drawing conclusions / suggesting improvements to a method / binomial names
4
Enzyme function / order of magnitude calculation / calculate rate of reaction
5
Amino acid structure / genetic code / effect of a change in amino acid sequence on enzyme function
6
Meiosis / drawing chromosomes / Chi-squared / directional selection
7
Passive immunisation with antivenom / calculation / ethical issue / vaccination / humoral immune response
8
Mass flow in plants / use of radioactive tracers/ experimental data/ standard deviation / drawing conclusions from experimental data
9
Role of enzymes in DNA replication / Antigen-antibody / experimental data /
10
Breathing / structure of gas exchange system
Structure & properties of triglycerides and phospholipids
Condensation of a disaccharide (lactose) in the Golgi body / glyosidic bond

Dude, just revise the whole spec. Theres no point gambling with your a-levels. Be as prepared as you possibly can.
