Why wouldn’t it be? Age is no barrier.

Also 24 isn’t that old; I’ll be 23 when I start uni

No there isn't an age limit to go to uni, there are a lot of mature students. I'll be graduating at 27. There are older people on my course. I've also seen much older students around the uni who are 40+ so don't worry, go when you're ready.

I have a classmate whose daughter is old enough to attend university. My friend's mum got her second degree in her 40s.

Age is not the issue. You will need to ask yourself why do you want to study. It is that motivation and drive that keep you going.

There was an 80 year old bloke on my last degree. Just applied because he fancied it. Even came on a course night out once (did go home by 10 though )!

If you want to go to uni then go. It's a very individualistic kind of place anyway.

If university is something that you really want to do, then go for it. Not everyone will need uni to succeed in life, so you have to consider what you want to do with your life and then how to get there. In terms of age limit, there isn't really one for university. Whilst the majority of students who start university are 18-20, a lot of students do begin the course later in life for various reasons. On my course, there was a 70 year old student so it shows you can study any age - you just need to have an interest or reason to do so!

I wouldn't worry, my guy Peter (see my avatar) is 66 and he knows f*ck-all.

I worked briefly with someone around 50 that had been a teacher for years and was now doing a Nursing degree, you can go at any age.

One of my best friends at uni was 48 when she started (I was fresh out of college like the majority) and she had a fantastic time and met lots of friends. We still meet up quite regularly 7 years later. Don't let anything stop you if it's something you want to do.
