I have a lump behind my ear and it can move side to side and recently I had a blood test that said I had less white blood cells than the average person. I also recently had one on my neck but it was getting smaller and I think it eventually disappeared but maybe it just travelled up to my ear and one last thing my hearing isn't as good as it used to be and I ask people to repeat everything a bit louder. I'm troubled at if I should go tell my GP as it doesn't hurt as when I went last time they said the one on my neck was, 'a swollen lymph node' however they also said my blood test came back normal even though I got told later that I had less white blood cells than a normal person .

If in doubt, go see your GP. Better to be safe than sorry, and if the GP confirms it's not a problem then you won't be worrying about it anymore

I had the same lumps and it turned out I was just fighting a virus at the time even though I didn’t feel ill- like the above poster said, it’s better to go to the GP and make sure you’re okay and get things explained to you. You might have had less WBC for a totally normal reason. I’d go back to the GP, if only for your peace of mind.
