Earlier I had a frappuccino at Starbucks with whipped cream on top. Though the cream didn't feel very cold? I haven't been to Starbucks in a while so perhaps it's always like that. They put chocolate sauce on the cream which may have... 'warmed' up the cream???

It's just that the cream didn't seem cold... not warm though.

I'm probably overreacting lol but do u think that the cream was ok?

At worst you’ll may get an upset tummy, but I wouldn’t worry, I never find the cream to be freezing either

i must admit, i don't think i've ever had particularly cold cream at starbucks anyway... at costa i do and ive been going to costa a lot recently so perhaps thats why it kinda surprised me it wasn't really cold?

They should be following various safety measures to ensure that anything they serve is safe to consume. If the cream wasn't cold it is probably cos it was warmed by the drink/ sauce or that it wasn't stored in a fridge around that time. Cream can be left out of a fridge for a good while before it is unsafe to eat and can get un-cold in that time. Ever poured yourself a glass of milk and by the time you drink it it's not totally cold any more or had milk or cereal that isn't cold? Or even let a scoop of ice cream get all melted and it's not cold any more? Same thing.

Even if the cream was days old and had gone bad the most that would probably happen is you have a tummy pain and loose stool for a day or so. Our bodies are really good at sorting out things like that.
