I am anon due to being know for wanting to do a certain degree, do not want to get hate for changing my path or thinking of plan B.

Hello,

I am new to the whole apprenticeship thing. I have looked over websites like uk gov and indeed for apprenticeships, and I find that sciencey/mathsy ones are my favourite.

I would want want something with good career prospects, especially to earn a comfortable wage as you progress.

I am currently in my last year of sixth form and debating to drop out, however, its likely I will continue till I have done my exams and recieved A-level grades (but I am looking at apprenticeships that don't require A-levels, just in case I don't get the grades, I take Biology Physics Chemistry).

I have looked at IT stuff and software, but it seems that they want you to be literate in some coding language (fair enough) which would mean I would have to take out a year to do so. What sort of experience would I need for things like electrical engieering or other trades? What about the national railway? Do I need any?

thank you
