I am an international applicant (so I don't exactly know the system) and received an offer for Natural Sciences at Durham. I have to pass a language test as part of my conditional offer. I am not sure yet and think about confirming my offer, but could I just not provide the language test in case I change my mind and don't want to take up my offer? Do I have to face any consequences of that? Thanks in advance!

Well yeah you can of course but you can contact the university as late as you like to tell them that you don't wish to take up your place.

You can change your mind between your firm and insurance until July, if I remember correctly.

Okay as I said i don't know much about the system haha! Even if I confirmed my choice, I can still say "no" as late as I want?

I heard that Durham are sending out some reduced offers but they're not yet so desperate for good students that they are forcing people to go there against their will! You will be able to decline your offer from Durham at any time via Ucas with no consequences

You can decline your offer through UCAS at any point and eventually you can just not turn up at the start of term. There's no need to fail anything.
