How social processes occurring WITHIN the jury may affect the outcome of the investigation?

So I found some answers and I’m just not sure if they’re corrects

-features of the defendant
-polling methods
-role of forepeople

And if you think it’s correct..which 2 do you think are the most important?

Thank you in advance xx

Hey,
Features of the defendant I would say is the most important and then depending on what the exact roles of the fore people are and what polling method was agreed upon by the jury and who instigated that decision, would depend on what was second.

I would say so, there are plenty studies out there about how people respond differently compared with male or female defendant or how they dress etc.
If there is a strong personality in the jury and submissive personalities then the voting may reflect the dominant point of view. If the foreperson is dominating or commands the jury well and let’s everyone speak, you may get a different result in the vote than if the foreperson just spoke on and on and tried to force ideas. If the vote is anonymous that will make a different compared to if it’s out loud as the jurors might not want to be judged for their decision by the others etc etc
