Hey,
I'm slightly interested in dressing a bit more formally on a regular basis, so wearing shirts and maybe a tie occasionally?. I kind of enjoy dressing up smart but I don't really dress this way not just out of the case of looking weird (as in wearing a shirt and tie when not needing to etc).

Would it be weird/strange to casually start wearing more 'smart casual' stuff on a regular basis even though I don't have to?

Thanks,
xAikx.

You can look smart even if you aren't wearing a tie and shirt on a regular basis. Just be confident with whatever you wear.

There's nothing wrong with wearing a shirt on a casual basis, although a tie I'd say less so and would leave for work/formal occasions.
