Riddle me this

Hi,
My friend told me this riddle, and I quite like it:

A man died on the 11th January 2018, but was buried on the 10th January 2018. How is this possible
He died and was then transported to another country where the time zones were different.

That’s one of the possible answers.
Another that I got was that he was buried alive
