I'm struggling to reach the higher grades in art, no matter how much I work into things or feel like I've progressed my grade never changes. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and whether it could just be the grade boundaries are really high?

Art is so difficult in terms of improving grades.
Maybe you need a new strategy.
Have you discussed with your teacher about it? I hope they can give you more professional tips.

I have talked to my teachers and they give us tips on how to improve but even if we do them they won't improve the grade! I think you're right about a new strategy though, Art is such a hard gcse.

My teacher told me that your research, analysis and writing about your chosen artists are what will get you the better marks. Hope this helps!

Hi! I did GCSE Art in 2017 and gained full marks in both my exam and coursework. I’ve written a few blog articles about GCSE Art tips since but this is my most popular one- hopefully the advice here will be beneficial to you!
