I would say that nowadays people are more aware of the power of make-up.
So, they know that make-up doesn't match exactly to the natural face

Nothing to stop you wearing make up.
Perhaps some of your gf felt you were false advertising when they discovered your personality?

Believe it or not, people wear make up for themselves and not for other people. So no, it's not false advertising because it's not advertising.

Most look different with makeup. My flatmate for example is very attractive with makeup on but not usually. Others are actually more pretty naturally and makeup makes them worse.

Nope. I think the ASA would probably laugh at you if you tried to report it.

Technically, our own natural appearances are false advertisement, too. Some people seem to like prettier/more attractive people on the basis of their face or body. Doesn't mean that they're a better person.

This doesn't really have any correlation but I liked the sound of it.

Love how you think they're advertising themselves - prefer less makeup myself, but honestly let them be

Nah, all the ladies wear makeup just for me and me mates

Actually, they wear makeup just to account for the possibility that they'll bump into me and me mates

Ladies wish I'd wear makeup, so they don't have to feel nauseous whenever they look at me

Meh. I'm sure most men would think I look x10 better without make-up on (I'm a heavy winged eyeliner + blood red/black lipstick sort of girl) but I don't pick my cosmetics to appeal to men so whatever. :dontknow:

“false advertising” is definitely the wrong term for it - it shows that y’all are really more interested in looks than everything else

Then I'm sure they'd understand that it's not natural so they won't get too much of a shock when I take it off!
