Agree, but also, you can see yourself as beautiful. You just need to learn it, which takes a bit of practice. You need to see yourself with new eyes. Try to reconceptualise what beauty is. Since I was a kid I always thought fat women and girls were beautiful. I only learned that being fat 'wasn't beautiful' because that's what society taught me, but guess what, society is wrong. Push away what you think you know about beauty, and start seeing with your own independent eye. Just practice it everyday and you'll start seeing beauty in different shapes and sizes, different from what you used to believe beautiful was, different from what the norm is. It's amazing Look at what you consider to be your flaws and see them as beautiful because they're natural and therefore authentic, and that's beautiful. Good luck! You can do it. You are beautiful.

Oh! It's because I often feel like a blacksheep, haha. People often have very different opinions to me, or ways of being. I often find myself falling out with people over these differences too, which also leads to me feeling a bit like a blacksheep.

I have tried this. Unfortunately sometimes people do things that you know isn't right towards you and when you confront them about it, they deny deny deny. It's difficult to be friends with someone who refuses to be honest with you, especially if what they are doing is affecting you negatively.

totally agree with you. it is difficult to be friends with people like that but for your peace of mind forgive them and just move on. you don't have to be friends with them but still treat them with love and respect when you do meet them. don't become like them .always hold onto your dignity and self respect no matter what...even with these type of people.
i just feel sorry for them . what you sow is what you reap.......

It's true. It's refreshing talking to someone who has similar ideas as me I do disagree however that you should push yourself to simply move on. Actually there's a lot you can learn about yourself by reflecting on time's and people passed. I think it's okay for those things to come up and to actually dwell on those things for a while. It's what I do and it helps me to truly let go. It's a process. Sometimes memories will come up from the past and to me that's a sign that there is still more to uncover, so I reflect on it. What tends to happen after I do this is that those memories don't hold so much weight after reflecting on them Those memories become like objects without negative karma attached.

Well looks are important when you are dating - for most anyhow - they want to be with someone they are physically attracted too. But I will say in the long run, who you become frineds with or in a long term relationship, personality is 100x more important than looks then.

blacksheep i said " just move on". never Push yourself to do anything because that does not work in the long term.
but if you Can just move on that is great.
we all have our own way of dealing with negative people and situations.
i like the way you deal with it by reflection and this helps you to let go.
thanks for sharing that.

Yes, I completely agree that pushing yourself is a really negative thing. I'm glad you think so too

And no problem! Hope it helped in some way. Nice talking to you :-)
