I don't know why but my brain won't let me believe there are many black people outside london.

But just wondering, whats the black population like in Manchester?

Anyone moved from London and even noticed any difference?

There's quite a lot i think!
I'd say one for every couple of people you see in town.

I can't comment on whether it's actually high or low, but it's certainly diverse. I live in a really muslim orientated area, but right next door is Moss Side which has a higher black population. Areas of Manchester are all different, I'm led to believe North Manchester is more white than south, but I can't say whether that is actually true or not.

I think this is true, i live in North Manc and there aren't many black people here, but there are lots when i go into Manchester centre.

A gang from moss side axed a guy from my college in the head when he was in the park next to the college one lunch.

Not relevant, just thought I'd jump in.

What's so "cool" about that? I'd rather Manchester was nothing like the dump that London is.

I thought that myself, just didn't say anything. I don't see why the population of black people matters. But there you go.
