5 in GCSE English Language?

Hi
So I'm studying in year 12 currently and I'm looking at courses that I'm interested in mainly medicine and science related degrees. But my problem is that I got a 5 in my English Language at GCSE but I got an 8 in English Literature. So will this hold me back? I got mainly 8s and 9s in the rest of my GCSEs and I'm predicted AAAA for my subjects so idk I'm just looking for an answer

With those amazing predictions , I don't think universities will look at GCSEs and especially they're really good too. Therefore, they will just focus on your A-level predictions. You shouldn't worry tho :smile:
