Hi all,

I have completed a BSc in Applied Sports Science (2:1) and I am currently studying a BPS accredited MSc in Psychology. I have chosen an Exercise-based optional module. I am having to consider my options as I have been told I need to do a specific MSc to the field I would like to go into..

Would I be considered for a Sport and Exercise orientated PhD or would I need to complete a MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology?

Thanks.

You would definitely be eligible for a sports and exercise PhD or psychology PhD, but please note this would not qualify you to be a sport and exercise psychologist if that is your plan. This would need the MSc (Stage 1) as you said.
