How to get a 9 in English Lit and Language

Can someone list me the fundamentals that i need to know in order to get my grade from a 7 to a 9 please.
It would help a lot.
This would apply to both Literature and Language

My advice is to do essay over essay ( practice and practice ) make sure to ask someone to mark it !!
