PGCE Secondary

Why Brighton over Sussex? I currently have offers for both for a PGCE Secondary Geography and am struggling to decide between the two.

Having phoned recruiters, none of them seem to care where you study.
Hi @KatJ26

Congratulations on your offers!

We are sure you are interested in other students’ opinions but in the meantime, we thought you might like to have a look at what our current Geography PGCE students have been up to.

Our PGCE Geography students partook in beneficial local fieldwork to provide practical experience that has enabled further skills (details here)

They also visited Flatford Mill (details here)

And also RGS and Natural History Museum  (details here)

Brighton is one of the UK’s largest providers of education and teacher training and has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted in our 2018 inspection

If you haven’t had the chance to visit our city and campus already, we would recommend coming along to one of the Open Days in the summer. This will give you are a great opportunity to get a feel of the university, visit the accommodation and facilities and see the city at its best. Click here if you would like to book your place.

We'd advise visiting your other choices too, and weighing up the pros and cons of each

I hope this is helpful!
