So i know i registered with one in my first year, but i cant remember which one....think it began with a P!...but that could be a lie
So what are the names of the doctors in town? (i know its not the one by morrisions) Where are they? and what are there phone numbers please? Ive thrown all those bits of paper away!
I still haven't registered with a doctor yet...probably should but I never go to the doctors anyway The forms are filled in just for the last few months I haven't handed it in yet.
I've had bad experience with doctors, who seem to automatically think that young girl ages 16-18 with sickness = pregnant slapper! Sooo I plan to put off registering with a doctor when I arrive in aber for a very long time.
I would registered with a doctor, if your ill don't go to Bronglais unless your loosing blood at a pint every half and hour. I had a kidney infection and went to A&E there and they seem to treat students very badly, my GP at Padarn was the most helpful doctor I saw when I was ill so I recommend you register.
I use the Ystwyth Surgery, down by Morrisons, not sure why I chose that one now, but I think it's pretty good everytime I've been there. We were advised that we'd be fined at the start of our first year if we didn't register within a certain time, it's part of (or at least was then) a contract that you have to be registered with a local doctors.
Yea we were warned that we would be fined if we didn't register. I seem to remember getting a lot of emails about it! I'm with Church Surgery, never had any problems and always manage to get an appointment.

Oh...erm, I will next year then I've got the forms filled in I'll just do it next year.
Church are alright (if you don't know where they are, they're on the next street inland from the street with the Commodore cinema on it) in a converted church (surprise nsurprise). I've always got an appointment when I wanted too, although they seem to havce a policy of only booking appointments on the same day.
I was at Padarn, they were very good, much better than any doctors I had before or since, the doctors were really nice and the waiting time was pretty short too. It might have changed since I left but you could book appointments in advance instead of rushing to do it at 8am on the day.
Padarn is a wise choice! I'm at padarn surgery and there excellent! I've got there phone number but I don't think it's wise to announce it on the web so I'll give you directions! When you'll arrive at aber you'll discover a HUGE steep hill, as you walk down from campus , keep walkin until you see a small spar on the corner on the right hand side of the road, keep walking on the right and you'll pass a lloyd's chemist and then you'll see a big blue house and this is the PADARN SURGERY! Good luck and let's hope you want need to visit to often!!XX
