Kingship:
Talk about how Duncan is a generous and just king who praises and acknowledges his people. However he is too trusting which may be seen as a flaw due to the fact he becomes naïve and lets Macbeth, a close friend of his, take his role as king and claim to power.

However Macbeth is a tyrannical king who is quick to violence when his position is threatened, and leads him to kill several others to maintain his power over all. He is also very unstable and not in control as he lets guilt over power his thoughts as he represses his wrong doings which result him to hallucinate as a result of the boiling over of stress on getting caught and faces his consequences. He has many flaws like being easily manipulated by his wife which perhaps leads him to his demise; as she made him feel weak and question his masculinity. Moreover becomes overall ambition to prove himself to a women; which may potentially lead to his downfall.

Shakespeare links Duncans good quality as king to King James. (Research more about that context, cba to write it rn lol)

Normally aqa pick themes and they've already picked 2 out of the 3 main themes and guilt is the third. But that's just a prediction

Yeah it actually really did! I’m a bit more aware of themes and importance of scenes now, I’m going to do some last minute mind maps and focus on doing timed essays on the lead up to Wednesday, I’m not going to bother re reading my 19th century novel however

Apparently Mr Salles a youtuber says it will be Lady Macbeth and Macbeth on Appearance vs Reality. I hope that Lady Macbeth comes up linking to the theme of guilt.

For An Inspector Calls I hope Mr Birling comes up but I doubt it I think Gerald or Sheila will come up again. For themes I think it will be gender roles.
