Boarding Schools:Benenden, Headington and St.Leonard-Mayfield

For Sixth Form, I want to go to either Benenden, Headington, or St.Leonard-Mayfield. By the way, I currently go to an all girls grammar in Kent. Has anyone attended any of these schools or know anyone who has? I just want a general idea about each of the schools. According to the Internet, Benenden is the most 'public' school out of the three and I was wondering if it was full of stuck-up, posh people?
Thanks, x

I have no idea about what it's like to go to those schools, but St.Leonards-Mayfield is Catholic and the others aren't, is that something that's likely to be an issue to you (or is it likely to be something that's an issue admissions wise)? Benenden and Headington also feature in the Tatler 'top schools' list, again that might be meaningless but it suggests a certain client base - there are reviews on there that might be of use to you. Also try the Good Schools Guide, I think you have to subscribe but the reviews are fairly 'warts and all'.
Why is this in GD?

There is a dedicated sub-forum for Sixth Forms...
Benenden certainly used to be in the top league. Benenden and Rodean for girls = Harrow and Eton for boys. It would be unusual if it had dropped its standards that much over the last 10 years.

I went to Headington for seven years!

It's... okay. The sixth form is very different to the younger years, so don't take everything I say as red. The one thing I will say is it is CHOCK full of Cantonese girls, who often talk in Cantonese in public and are very cliquey. The teachers are good and the facilities are obv excellent, but it can be quite closed in and claustrophobic. If you want to know anything specific, PM me - if I don't know, I will find out cause I still go back there every week even though I'm now at college
