Politics Philosophy and Economics (PPE, L0v0)

Hi,

I need some advice about my application to do PPE. Basically, I've decided, in my A2 year, to take a gap year and re-apply in October for the 2009 entry. Obviously at the moment i'm in the process of sitting my finals, but i think i'm at a stage where i have a fairly good indication of what my grades will be. I'm at a total loss as to where to apply (obviously i know which unis offer it, but i've heard so many confounding anecdotes about what offers they accept and the quality of the course)

The best outcome this year would be to achieve:
A in English Language
A in Psychology
B in Mathematics
C in Chemistry

Universities and courses i am seriously considering:

P,P,E @ York, Durham, UEA, Lancaster
Politics Philosophy @ LSE
However i'd also like some of your more educated opinions on the others (Manchester, Oxford, Warwick, Exeter (PP)

Would these universities consider me with the unsightly C in chemistry? I mean, given that Maths and Chemistry are the hardest A-Levels to be doing, would they be prepared to make allowances? Personal statement wise, there are no problems, i have very good material and i think it's one of the strongest points of my entire application.

As it stands however, i also have an E in Physics under my belt. However thats not something that i'd imagine those Uni's would like seeing, and was going to leave it off my application full stop... would it hurt my case to include it/not include it?
