What are the best ways to revise History? It's not my strongest subject and there's so much content to learn.

In history i got a 9 in mocks and in my recent exam i got a 8. I don't know your exam board but mine is WJEC and the textbook is so wordy and has so much info so what I did was print the spec and made my notes as short as possible.
e.g. the textbook might say the wall street crash happened in 1929 and it caused a disaster for america
& when I was writing my notes I would write wall street crash = 1929, (BAD)
something like that so that it sticks in my head. Apply this for all subjects
2/3 weeks until the exam bang out past papers like do 3-4 everyday and mark where your exam technique is off and finally enjoy the 8 or 9
