Brunel is amuch better uni than Kingston. I know quite a few people who go to Kingston and they say that it's really good socially but not so academically (thats thier opinion). Brunel is one of the best ex-poly's. People i know who go thier really enjoy it their

Not sure bout the nature of the courses.

hope that helps

I've been to check out both uni's. Kingston does seem to better socially as theres a nightclub nearby and the shopping centre is close. I was suprised that Kingston (rated 65 in Times league table) was shortlisted in the Times for the Times university of the year(I remember UCL came first). And pharmacy is a good degree, I'm kinda worried that employers make look down upon Kingston compared to say Kings etc. I was also thinking about biochem there, and the science facilities are reasonably good. However its further away (I'd be living at home)

Brunel seems like a good uni, its 43 in the Times league table, and its close and easy to get to. Multimedia technology and design seems like a fun course but i'm not sure about the job prospects compared to say computer science.
Brunel's big plus is its fantastic graduate employment record. And I don't know about your course specifically, but they're known for great thin-sandwich courses.

My friends went to visit both, they said that Kingston was like a sixth form college, and the accomodation was far more expensive than Brunel's even though Brunel's were ensuite. They really liked Brunel though.
i went to the kingston open day last month... it was okay but it isnt as good as kings etc..
