URGENT Trying to decide whether to retake my BTEC Health and social care exam HELP

I have to decide by tomorrow whether to retake my BTEC Health and Social Care exam. I have done two exams and got a pass in both. I have applied for a teacher training course but they said they would accept me if I dropped a grade in a subject (so that would be this one). I could retake this exam to try and get a merit but my history in this subject doesn’t make me feel confident that I will actually improve. I thought I had decided earlier that I will not redo it, but my teacher told me ‘I would definitely redo’ so I don’t think she would be very happy if I told her I’m not redoing the exam. WWYD?
