A Level or College

I had originally applied for a sixth form including the courses of Drama, Eng Lang and lit and Production Arts. But it turned out that I was the only one to apply for Production Arts at my school. This is extremely devastating news as I had my heart set on that subject and to become a theatre technician. Honestly now I dont know what to do. I've reapplied for sociology but im having second thoughts about it. What do I do????

Take the advice of the teacher who was going to run it? Very niche course and can see why not many people would take it up.

Find out what qualifications theatre technicians need or what the entry requirements are for university, then work backwards and make sure your chosen subjects meet their requirements.
I notice theres a foundation course. I expect there are other courses and you need to id the correct ones, which means a food degree of research so you do the ones people want and avoid the dud degrees or courses.

Its very niche.
What you need to do is the research to find out what qualifications and experience entrants to the industry need.
Then find out what what is the best combination of what you can study is.

There are degrees in technical theatre as well as ones in theatre production.

Some courses I think are ay good unis and others are a bit niche. so do your research and plan out what you need to do and make sure you take the correct choices.

Theres also a foundation degree., Keep going and realise good research plus getting good grades and experience are going to be your friends.
