English Literature essay structure help (Coursework and exams) AQA

I have just started the English Literature coursework, I am currently in the first year.

I need help on how I can structure my essays in both exams and the coursework itself. Currently getting band 3s in exams, and am unsure on how I can push my essays to higher bands.

For comparisons, I do a paragraph on one text, then do another paragraph on another text, then a comparison paragraph, this obviously takes a long time and I often run out of time in the exams.

I often stick to writing one point in my essays, and I end up doing detailed analysis on that one point, however, this clearly is not working.

Any hey help on essay structures would be useful.
