Yeah, so what? It's not a GCSE. It's a Free Standing Maths Qualification (FSMQ). The A in it is worth 20 UCAS points as well and universities will probably know you can't get an A*. It's a lot like how you can't get A*s in A-levels yet.

Does anyone have any links to past papers for this apart from the ones listed on the OCR website? Or any good revision sites? I would be very grateful if you could help meout here... I really want that A!

The university offers are usually points, so no A* is not a problem. Also A levels have no A* currently either.

Think about your 20 points you can get for an A. It is safety for your A levels. If you got a B in your A2s and not an A as required. Then your A in FSMQ would boost your score to an A.

I would have thought you would apprechiate it in 2 years time.

Dosen't your school have to have registered before you can acess this. I'm sure my school had to pay a subscription for it?

well im meant to be doing this test in may and im still 14 so i was wondering this this actully hard??
