Approved DSA, how long does software take to come?

Hello, I've just been approved for a DSA and had my assessment for what I need.

I have been granted a laptop with preloaded software
I was wondering if anyone's been through the process of choosing their laptop and if they had a choice with the supplier?
I'm wanting to know if im able to get a macbook Pro, my friend was able to buy she applied two years ago

depends on the supplier what choice they have, you can pay them to upgrade to something higher spec if you get a macbook pro you'll need to pay a few hundred pounds to upgrade to one.
