How to become a crime scene investigator?

Im interested law/ detective work and i just wanted to know the process you need to go through, like type of a levels needed, what uni degree is suggested and what to do after uni etc. I originally wanted to be a lawyer but now thinking about police / detective work, much appreciated!

There are lots of degrees in policing and investigations.

CSI and detective are obviously different, so its best you look up the differences to decide which one might be of more interest.

Look up the degrees here and then look at the entrance requirements.

They like science and law is ok, but the grades arent massively high. Same with forensic science. Two science are ideal. Bio and Chem etc, but you are best searching courses and finding out which one suits you.
When using the search function then try a lot of variations as degrees can have different names but cover the same thing or be called the same thing and vary greatly in content.
