Hey what do people think is going to come up this year
No idea :dontknow:

Closer to time predicted papers will be popping up all over the internet but tbh they're always guesses until the first exam is done, then you can kind of tick off the topics that came up and focus more on the ones that didn't.

In the meantime just focus on revising everything, if you want past papers, look here: https://mathsoutlet.weebly.com , other good sites I used are https://www.onmaths.com/ and https://www.mathedup.co.uk/gcse-maths-takeaway/

Good luck

Hi,

In past threads I've noticed some more knowledgeable people give a general idea what might be covered in papers 2 and 3 now that paper 1 has been done. Has anyone got an idea yet?

Edit:

Found this so far if it's a help to anyone

Topics that I strongly feel will come up: (Paper 2)

- Calculator Skills (Anyone could have predicted that)
- Drawing quadratic or cubic graphs and then estimating the roots. (5 Marks Question)
- Algebra in angle problems (4-5 Marks)
- Vectors (3-5 Marks) - The June 2018 paper was to draw a vector so this year they will probably give us a problem solving one.
- Histograms or Cumulative Frequency (5 Marks - If Histograms)
- Linear Simultaneous Equations (3 Marker)
- Loci and Construction (4 Marks)
- Bearings (2-5 Marks - Depending on the question)
- Sine Rule or Cosine Rule (4-6 Marks could do one or combine both of them together)
- Trigonometry or Pythagoras (3 Marks)
- Algebraic Fractions - (3-5 Marks)
- Quadratic Simultaneous equations (50-50 depending on how easy or hard the exam is)
- Inequalites or Quadratic Inequalities (3 Marks)
- Drawing equations of a circle (5 Marks finding out both x and y coordinates)
- Iteration (6 marks)
- Quadratic Formula (3 Marks)
- 3D Trigonometry or 3D Pythagoras (4-5 Marks)
- Estimated Mean (3-4 Marks)
- Circle Theorems (3-5 Marks)
- Standard Form (2 Marks max)
- Venn Diagrams (4 Marks)
- Percentages
