What does this mean

My boyfriend said he's a 'lone wolf' and will rarely stay at mine, he says once a week is enough. He also cancelled coming on my family holiday to go on a holiday with his siblings and all their friends.

He doesn't want to break up because I've asked him and thought that was what he was leading to when I asked.

He also said if I try and make him do something it will make him not want to do it...
