I hoped I will have either completed Law school and be a lawyer or be a successful journalist in New York. I hope I'm living abroad/have lived abroad in somewhere such as Ontario, New York or Australia.
Not married, but in love.

I'm going to do Spanish and German at Salford Uni for 4 years. That includes 6 months in Spain and 6 months in Germany. They prefer you to go on a work placement at Salford and apparently, quite a few students get offered jobs if the companies like them so who knows, I may go back to Spain or Germany after my degree. In 10 years, I would like my own house. Not too big, just a little semi-detached or a dormer bungalow with a good job in the middle of the city with opporunity to travel, enough money to not worry about bills, a handful of best mates and maybe my own horse. Oh, and a SMART Roadster aswell.

I sat down this morning and wrote a letter to myself immortalising my 18 year old self in paper, where I want to be in 10 years time, relationships, friendships and so on then in 10 years I can reread the letter and see how I've changed and what I've achieved that I wanted to when I wrote the letter.

Worthwhile venture.

But, hopefully I'll be with the British Transport Police by then and in a relationship that is heading towards marriage and children. Oh, and I wish still to be in regular contact with my sixth form and university friends, naturally.

10 years I'll be 28.
Doing law with politics at uni.
Hopefully involved in law and politics (obviously) maybe a human rights lawyer :P or something to do with culture etc. Either living in London or somewhere in europe...probably Paris or Brussels. Therefore should hopefully be trilingual by then!
I'd like to be an amateur literature critic on the side :smile:

maybe have my novel finished and even published by then!
DOne some good travelling.
No kids.
Living a good social life... cocktail parties etc.
Working hard playing hard.
I like that although I dream big they're not ridiculously impossible :smile:

Earning a comfortable living in a job that I enjoy, being in good health and having time to still do the things that I love. Having my own house and living together happily with a long-term partner. Sorted.

Oh and a Bugatti Veyron would be nice.

Hopefully I'll have done my three (or four) years at university, still be speaking French and be rising up the ranks of the Metropolitan Police - mebbe sergeant on my way to inspector. I hope to be working my way through a string of anonymous one night guys as well :p:

With the title 'Dr' in front of my name, after a Phd in Geology (ok I can dream... )
Married to an intelligent and gorgeous husband, children, lots of animals, city appartment in USA somewhere and country cottage in the UK in a village near to the coast. Enjoying life, visting fashion shows and art galleries as my hobbies! Now that would be fanatastic! :biggrin:
