haha...thread title sounds like that song Gabrielle did...
where do I want to be in 10 years time? I have honestly no idea. I want to be successful, I want to be in a relationship, I want to be living abroad. But I don't want children, and I don't want to feel like I failed myself.
I want to be a positive person, I want to be referring to the next ten years as 'good times, good times.' I want my mum to have found proper happiness, and I want my sisters to be happy. I want my dad to have gotten married or have a partner. I want to have travelled, to have learned to drive, to have enough money to party but not so much that I lose control.
But most of all, I want to still be me. More mature, more experienced, but still me. I want to still be walking down the street in turquoise jeans with orange flowers in my hair, and green jelly shoes on my feet. I want to still not give a damn what people think about that. I don't want to blend into the crowd, not now, not in 10 years, not in 100 years - not ever. Not in anything I ever do.

A trained doctor with a diploma in arabic & amharic, engaged to a lovely Norwegian, living on VSO in Oran, Algeria, working on improving the health service there and listening to some decent Rai. Then we'll have kids and we'll send them to Waterford Kamhlaba, so they don't have to deal with the crazy British system. Hopefully I'll speak Norwegian and isiZulu by this time. *dream*

Be a millionaire.

Being serious. In 10 years I'll most probably be working in Singapore and Malaysia and probably be in the process of getting my MBA as well. As for anything else...who knows. I doubt I'll be married or even have children by then. The job I know is for certain, though!

Hopefully I'll be practicing in the NHS as a Clinical Psychologist with a year or so of work experience under my belt. Maybe at that point I'd be married to my girlfriend living in a nice house starting our family.

Completed Masters degree in Aero Eng after 5 years and after that I'm in three or four minds about what to do! Part of me wants to go down the PhD road and get into research; the other part of me likes the idea of taking up a job offer following my graduation; one part of me wants to take my degree into the RAF, hopefully as a pilot but an officer doing something; and then another part wants to train to be an airline pilot.

What I do know is I'll get my degree, apply to the RAF first and, if unsuccessful, will take up job offers either here or overseas (preferably Americas) and start enjoying myself. All being well, I'll be Dr Biggles with my own Fortune 500 company. :p:

i'll be 28.
I'd like to own my own home/ houses. one which i have build (/been built for me!) which is sustainable and has no impact on the environment.
either, married or soon to be, with children in the next few years.
with a job which will be able to support me individually, either running my own business or being high up within a company.
i'd like to be well travelled with job experiences in many countries, although i think home will always be England.
With a good social life, and still in contact with my close friend.
but all i want is to be happy
