Hey all,
Just a quick question, for OCR Chemistry, what do the past papers from the pre 2015 spec roughly equate to? On PMT there's units 1, 2, 4 and 5. Is each one them one module like new spec AS Inorganic, A2 Organic, etc, or not?
Cheers

F321 - Module 2 and 3 (so atoms, Periodic table, electron structure, basic moles ect, ionisation energy)
F322 Module 4 (AS Organic Chemistry)
F324 Module 6 (A2 Organic Chemistry)
F325 Module 5 (Transition elements, rates, ect)
There's some stuff on those that aren't on the new spec, like chiral synthesis, azo dyes, a lot of the green chemistry won't be tested anymore. Also some stuff missing that was newly introduction for the new spec ie PV=nRT, Arrhenius

As MediocreSince01 said, there was a lot of stuff dropped a whole load added and the style of Q has changed, too, esp with MCQs and the level of response Qs, as well as the increased emphasis on practical based Qs.
Do them with a little care, about as much care as you would doing, for example, a recent AQA past paper
