Law question

Hey guys,

In my textbook it says that an ombudsman cannot investigate matters relating to appointment and discipline of armed forces, does this mean that all issues pertaining to armed forces cannot be investigated; or just those relating to appointment and discipline?
The armed forces have their own MP's who shoot naughty soldiers.

I would get a better textbook if I was you.

There is a service complaints ombudsman

Some complaints are excluded from her consideration, but the exclusions do not coincide with what you are describing. With the exception of security vetting matters they are things where there are other means of redress eg the Court Martials Appeals Court or a civil claim for personal injury.
