It's pictures of urself that's not rly allowed becuz I think u can get evil eye and crap like that...
And u cant hang up pictures of urself or anything with eyes becuz of something to do with shaitaan and angels won't be able to enter ur home
But u can take pictures in general like of places, food, just not people (or pics with eyes)

Things are haram for a reason at the end of the day and we just have to follow it and hope we will be rewarded for it...and even if people think god doesn't exist or islam is the wrong religion, there's no harm in NOT doing something right?...
I mean look at the mormons, they can't even drink tea becuz they think its unhealthy...

Everything that has been made haram is haram for a reason.
You are the same person who would question the prophets hadith when he said to a man sleeping on his belly,dont sleep like this,God does not like it. The man and fellow companions never slept on their bellies again. They did not question "why", because the prophet was so truthful.
Only now we come to realise that sleeping on belly is unhealthy due to scientific advancements. Islam not only tells you its haram,but what to do instead aswell. This was just a small story for you to understand.
Music is a distraction everyday life, nowdays music contains such bad language that its almost a form of audio pornography. It harms your ears and wastes your time, decreasing you concetration span, not only that but it changes your mood aswell. You seem like your not a muslim by choice. Please understand your religion and DO NOT base it upon stupid tradtions and cultures. If you truly believe you would know everything God has forbidden is for a reason. Also not all photography is haram and also talking to opposite gender. THERE ARE LIMITS. Your religion is way above science.

Had to delete my account, it was glitching. I am the orginal poster. And yes you are right i am not a muslim by choice. I still like islam. I did more research and some people say it is haram and some people say it is not but people provided evidence. There is no quote that directly addresses about prohibition of music. Cant find anything. Confused af but i dont think it is haram

Certain instruments are haram and some are not. I am not a scholar or have enough knowledge. But i have been in your situation. You need to find proper source from proper people. If you have doubt, then pray. Dont go asking advice on dumb forums. I feel sorry sometimes for the people who post here for help. There are grown up idiots who shove their own feelings into other people. Everyone has their agenda. Even me now. My agenda is to help someone who was in same situation as me.

Also you dont use google to diagnose yourself, you find a doctor. Type in lump in google and you will probably diagnose yourself with cancer. Same way you need a proper source with evidence.
