Hi, currently in year 12 and thinking of taking 2 gap years working on organic farms. I currently study Maths, Philosophy, and Physics and want to study Physics/earth sciences at uni. How would one go about this process? Thanks

I'm guessing you just apply two years later on your own through Ucas with the grades you already would have achieved

Yeah you can apply to Uni whenever and whatever age you are via UCAS (I think until the age 65 or something) In Uni there is a fairly large proportion of 'mature' students, those that are 20+ who have worked or taken multiple gap years, or just want to do another degree. There is no problem with this. What you can't do is apply, then take gap years as you'll be automatically rejected, but that's not what you're asking. OS when it comes to applying just go on UCAS and apply, you could if you want contact your school for advice on this once this time comes.

Thanks, I'll probably just apply with my UCAS then myself after the two years.
