I see a lot of English language theorists talking about how male and female language is different, at A-level, but does anyone know if any theorists say their language is similar?
I know that I interrupt my male friends a lot, despite that not being a feature of female language, so did anyone talk about this

The only thing that comes to mind is the discursive approach. It states that gender is not binary and there is no 'male language' or 'female language' because gender is more complex than that.

Any link where I can find more information on this theory?
