dizzy-stress???

hey i'm 17 and recently i keep getting dizzy spells and what i think are panic attacks not really sure though because i have never had them before, i also feel sick quite a lot. at first i thought the dizziness was down to diabetes(because both my parents are and my dad's dad was so high risk i could become diabetic) but when i check my glucose levels their normal i have checked them on several occasions by fasting and doing it and eating an do it. I under a lot of stress recently

bit of background info about the stress if it helps
my mum nearly died last sunday
being bullied but being accused of being the bully
my sisters fiance fell in England and ended up in hospital so my sis, baby niece and ma sis fiance are all stuck up in England
i got to decide by the 6-6-08 whether or not i am going to complete the second yr of my college course

any ideas what could be causing it could it just be stress or is it something to worry about PLEASE HELP -x-

hey thanks for the posts was worried you were going to say go to the GP my fears are that its something serious but i suppose if it is it better to get it sorted ASAP so thanks -x- one more thing though if i go to the GP and it just stress do thet have to put you on de-stress tablet things rather not dont like medication unless i have to -x- yer anyway thanks so much really appreciate it -x-

Don't worry - we're not saying go to your GP because we think you have something, we're just saying go to your GP because we're not qualified to diagnose you. You say you feel sick, you feel dizzy and you think you have panic attacks - that's worth going to see a doctor about. You're thinking too far ahead about tablets. Just go and see your GP and see what they say first :smile:

it's probably nothing, and it IS a symptom of anxiety. so id agree with your diagnosis of stress. it's not a panic attack either :smile:

Thanks hec but if their not panic attacks what are they coz they only happen when i get worked up and can be quite frequent sometimes about 5 a day other times i may go a few days without having one.
