Hello

My question is - what is the difference between Business Studies and International Business at Edinburgh University? (Apart from the fact in International Business you spend a year abroad)

I tried to look before posting, but I couldn't really find anything that was all that relevant or detailed.

Thanks, any help would be great.

I got the impression their wasn't much difference, I applied to both anyway
Hi,

The difference is that if you do International Business you also have to take Economics in your first year. It also affects the modules you have to take in 2nd year (you don't have to carry on with Economics) but are only allowed to choose one of your modules.

Hope that helps!

In business you have to do accounting in your first year and the economics courses are reccomended as your outsides, whereas in international business you only do the business course and you have to do 1 of the 2 economics ones, but no accounting.
